Allen Shaw (along with Bill Weller) founded Crescent Communications in 1993, and Wild 107 (KSOL at that time) was their first purchase. I was their first Engineering hire, and it was my first full-time CE gig. The company was very successful, so much so that when the first wave of consolidation hit (in 1996) they sold out the company at a tremendous profit. At that point I was snatched up by KKSF/KDFC (The Brown Organization).
Bill Weller was the Executive Vice President of Crescent. He and Allen placed a considerable amount of trust in me, and we spent a substantial amount of capital on Wild 107 capital improvements. It was a great working relationship and I'm very proud of what we accomplished during the 1993-1996 era of Wild 107.
Bob Visotcky was my GM at Wild for almost my entire tenure. Bob's a great guy, and as you can see from the note below, he thought highly of me as well.
